Dallas Children’s Health Holiday Parade
Saturday, December 3 at 10 a.m.
The 29th Annual Dallas Children’s Health Holiday Parade is definitely one you won’t want to miss. The parade starts on Commerce Street toward South Harwood Street. The route then takes a right onto South Harwood Street toward Young Street. The parade ends on the corner of Young and South Griffin Street. Tickets are available online if you’re interested in a bleacher seat for a better view. Otherwise, general admission is free to either stand or bring your own chair.
Holiday Extravaganza – Irving, TX
Saturday, December 3 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
If you’re looking for the ultimate holiday celebration, you’ll sure to be impressed with the Holiday Extravaganza just 20 minutes outside of Dallas in Irving, TX. There will be a community parade starting at 4 p.m. through the Heritage District. There will be a stage show outside of Irving City Hall to follow starting at 5 p.m. Sweet treats are available and Santa will be making an appearance. Christmas in the Park – Mesquite, TX
Saturday, Dec. 3 & Sunday, Dec. 4
For those on the other side of Dallas looking for something to do, this weekend is filled with fun in Mesquite, TX. Join the party in Westlake Park at 421 Gross Road on Saturday, December 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, December 4 from 1 to 6 p.m. There will be a holiday parade both nights starting at 6 p.m. that will wind through the park. Santa will be there for pictures, and guests are also welcome to shop the craft fair, eat food and play games. In honor of the 30th anniversary of the event, fireworks will conclude the parades.
