The Vineyards Campgrounds & Cabins
Location: 1501 North Dooley Street in Grapevine
If you’re looking to escape the everyday hustle and bustle of the city, then this campsite is perfect for you. It’s convenient placed right on Grapevine Lake just 20 minutes outside of Carrollton in Grapevine, Texas. Guests can camp traditionally in a tent or rent a cabin depending on their preference. Once you settle in, you’ll enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking and playing games like horseshoes, volleyball and disc golf. Pilot Knoll Park Campground
Location: 218 Orchid Hill Lane in Highland Village
Guests here can get closer to nature than ever before with primitive style campsites. They include just a lamp post, a fire ring and a picnic table, and there is no water or electricity. If that’s not your style, there are plenty of campsites that include electrical and water hook-ups. There’s plenty of space to grill out for the day with family and friends. There are kayak and paddle board rentals as well as sand volleyball courts and horseshoe pits for entertainment. This spot is about 25 minutes outside of Carrollton. Hidden Cove Park & Marina
Location: 20400 Hackberry Creek Park Road in Frisco
There are a lot of options for camping here at Hidden Cove Park & Marina. Guests can choose from traditional tent and RV camping to cabins, bunkhouses and lakeside shelters. Hiking trails are plentiful, and there’s also a picnic area to relax and eat with friends and family.
