The new 2017 Lexus IS has a lot to offer, which is why Lexus wanted to find a unique way to show off its impressive styling. With 41,999 programmable LEDs, Lexus designed a customer LIT IS model that’s wrapped in lights capable of displaying dynamic graphics and videos. The Lexus LIT IS makes its initial appearance in UK pop artist Dua Lipa’s new music video “Be the One”.

Lexus collaborated with Vevo to showcase the 2017 Lexus IS as a work of art. The project also highlighted its innovative technology and eye-catching design. When fully illuminated, the vehicle produces 175,000 lumens of light. The LED strips stretch half a mile in length, creating a striking visual effect. In addition, three lighting modes allow the LIT IS to interact with people and sounds. Each light was strategically placed to highlight the bold styling of the 2017 Lexus IS.
