One unique style cue is the octagonal Singleframe grille. Wider than most modern Audi production models, this feature combines practicality and style with a honeycomb lattice structure with aluminum overlay segments and large outlying air inlets. The grille surround is painted a contrasting color. The rest of the Audi Q8 sport concept also conveys boldness and confidence.

Hybrid Powertrain Features of the Audi Q8 Sport Concept

One of the most striking and intriguing pieces of the Audi Q8 sport concept is its part hybrid turbocharged powertrain. This model combines a 3.0-liter six-cylinder gasoline engine rated for 450 horsepower with an electric power compressor and motor to create a mild electric hybrid system. This SUV can recuperate significant energy when stopping. This energy can contribute to enhanced fuel efficiency, and also be used to boost driving performance. It can deliver turbo-charged acceleration without the delay seen with traditional gasoline engines.

When working together, the motor and engine can deliver up to 516.3 pound-feet of torque. This system even allows for limited all-electric driving in stop-start traffic. When equipped with a 22.5-gallon fuel tank, the Audi Q8 sport concept with hybridization should be able to go more than 745 miles in one go.
