If you\u2019re looking for fun, yet affordable things to do this summer with your children, then you\u2019ve come to the right place. Our team here at Certified Autoplex<\/a> is sharing a list of our favorite parks for kids to enjoy right here in Carrollton. Whether you\u2019re looking for an open field to run in our a jungle gym to climb on, our city has it all!Mary Heads Carter Park and Kids Corral<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Location: 2320 Heads Lane in Carrollton<\/strong><\/p>\n

This park truly has it all. There is tons of open space for children to run and play and let out all their energy, which is always a good thing. The park also features a newly built playground, which is designed to cater to children of all abilities. It is wheelchair-accessible, and it has tons of fun features children will enjoy like ladders, swings and a tower. There are restrooms at this park, and a pavilion can be reserved by contacting the city.<\/p>\n

W. J. Thomas Park<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

Location: 1955 Perry Road in Carrollton<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking to beat the heat, then we suggest you head over to W. J. Thomas Splash Park to cool down. Open from May 1 to October 15, the splash park will have water features running from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. However, the rest of the park is open from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The splash pad is free, so you can\u2019t go wrong. Be sure you and your children have appropriate swim attire in order to participate.<\/p>\n

Addison Circle Park<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

Location: Addison Circle in Addison, TX<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re up for the drive, there is a beautiful park located just ten minutes outside of Carrollton in Addison, Texas. This 10-acre city park is the place to be for all local events. There is a pavilion for gatherings as well as a a stage and fountains. Be sure to stay up-to-date on all the fun events happening in this park throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Those with older children may be looking for a less traditional park, and we have the perfect spot in mind. The Greenbelt Disc Golf Park on North Josey Lane in Carrollton is a great spot to enjoy a relaxing evening while playing a lighthearted game of disc golf.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no better way to get around town than in a vehicle with excellent gas mileage.
