There are plenty of things to do in DFW this Independence Day, but one of the most iconic activities is the fireworks display. Gates open at 4 p.m., and visitors can enjoy concessions, games, rides, and an airshow at 7:15 p.m.<\/p>\n Star Spangled Spectacular<\/strong> \u2013 Firewheel Town Center<\/p>\n Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m. for the Star Spangles Spectacular, proceeded by face-painting, bounce houses, live music, games, prizes and giveaways starting at 4 p.m.<\/p>\n Light Up Arlington<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 Downtown Arlington<\/p>\n Fireworks start at 9:45 p.m., with Kids Zones, train rides, food trucks and carnival concessions creating a party atmosphere starting at 6 p.m. Entrance is free, though some activities require a fee. Picnics and coolers are welcome.<\/p>\n Red, White and Boom on the Bridge<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge<\/p>\n We’re not sure when the fireworks go off, but food, music, and activities for children will be available from 6 p.m. The Westbound Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge will be closed to cars so that walkers can have a better view of the fireworks.<\/p>\n Southlake Stars and Stripes<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 Southlake Town Square<\/p>\n Fireworks start around 9:30 p.m. (after dark).
