The 2017 MDX Sport Hybrid should begin arriving in new Acura showrooms across the country in early April 2017 (just next month!). We aren’t certain when we will be able to see this elegant crossover SUV in our pre-owned Acura inventory<\/a> at Certified Autoplex<\/a> in Carrollton TX\/ It generally takes a couple of years for newly released luxury models to arrive on our lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acura MDX Sport Hybrid Powertrain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The 2017 Acura MDX Sport Hybrid combines the power from a 3.0-liter V-6 engine and three electric motors to offer up to 321 total horsepower and 289 pound-feet of torque available at low RPM. This makes the new Sport Hybrid both more more powerful than the non-hybrid MDX, but also the most powerful non-performance SUV ever made by Acura. The engine and motors come mated to an advanced seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that offers extremely quick gear changes with either automatic or manual (via steering-wheel paddle shifters) shifting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driving Highlights of the Sport Hybrid<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the performance inherent in its powerful and responsive powertrain, the 2017 Acura MDX Sport Hybrid offers other driving advantages.  With the Integrated Dynamics System, the hybrid MDX can tweak systems like the motors, throttle, transmission, steering and suspension to deliver exactly the driving experience that is desired, including COMFORT, NORMAL, SPORT and SPORT+ modes.
