Running May 29 from 2 – 10 p.m, the For Love & Art: A Benefit for America’s Veterans organized by Peep Show Texas will support local veterans, veteran artists, and a veteran-focused therapeutic art program. The art displayed will be from artists with a military background and feature the work of Roger Montoya. It will be held at 1418 N Riverfront Boulevard. Dallas Symphony Orchestra Memorial Day Concert

This free event at Flag Pole Hill will feature great music by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and a fireworks display! It will begin at 8:15 p.m. We aren’t sure how long it will last, but we assume somewhere between one and two hours. This is part of the Parks Concert Series. Carry the Load Dallas Memorial March

Celebrating heroes, remembering the fallen, and learning about our past is the goal of the Dallas Memorial March. Carry the Load seeks to raise money to support military members, veterans, first responders, and their families. A month of awareness culminates with the Memorial March starting on Sunday, May 28 at noon and ending on May 29 at 3 p.m. The event will feature music, speeches, stories of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, flag ceremonies and much more. This event is free and open to anyone who wants to celebrate the true meaning of Memorial Day. Learn more about events and donation options for 2017 here.
