Addison Oktoberfest
When: September 15-18, 2016
Where: 4950 Addison Circle Drive in Addison, TX
This is arguably one of the most authentic Oktoberfest celebrations in the country, so you won’t want to miss this. The four day event will attract more than 70,000 people with German food, beer, live music, polka, folk dancing and much more. There will be plenty of entertainment for the children as well. Prices vary depending on the day, and there are packages available for those planning to attend the entire event.
Oktoberfest Fort Worth
When: September 22- 24, 2016
Where: The Shack at Panther Island Pavilion
Another nearby Oktoberfest event to participate in later this month is in Fort Worth right outside of Dallas. This three day event will have tons of live music and entertainment as well as traditional German food and beer. There will be an Oktoberfest Run or Ride to kick off the festival, and other events will follow including the Oktoberfest Olympics, which are always fun to either participate in or just to watch!
Lake Highlands Oktoberfest
When: Saturday, October 1, 2016
Where: 8100 Doran Circle in Dallas
Kick off the month of October by heading to Flag Pole Hill Park in Dallas for the 6th annual Lake Highlands Oktoberfest. There will be three local bands for live entertainment as well as a party bar and a food walk. Children will have a safe place to play in the Kid’s Zone with face painting, crafts and bounce houses for endless entertainment.
